This Saturday, May 4th, the Panthers are schedulled to play at Athens, it is also Prom night for North Mac so hopefully they can bring home a win and celebrate at the Prom. The Panthers look to continue winning as they are 12-1 on the season, and 3-0 in the conference. Hopefully the Panthers do not let this get in their head as they have 9 games in the next 11 days. It seems kind of ridiculous to me, but coaches have their rules. were benched until the 4th inning because they had missed practice to go on their senior trip. However, Coach Jackson did not have his usual starters. The undefeated North Mac Panthers finally lost their first game on Thursday, April 25th to the Litchfield Panthers. The Panthers will need to win all three conference* games this week in order to take the sangamo conference title. It was rescheduled for Thursday, May 9th. Saturday, May 4th, the Panthers conference match-up against Athens/Greenview was cancelled because of the rain. Kirk would shut Auburn out the 5th and 6th innings, rallying the Panthers to a 2 run top of the 6th to tie the ball game. He still remains 5-0 on the season on the mound. Sam Dunn would pitch the first 4 innings giving up 2 earned runs. Winning pitcher, Kirk H., ( 8 BF, 2 Ks, 1 H, 1 BB) helped starter Sam Dunn from getting his first loss of the season.
